IS THERE JUSTICE IN THE CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST?

May 5, 2010

To The General Assembly and fellow Cogic Members

With all the intrusions the civil courts are making into churches, it is surprising to know they are being invited into the Church of God in Christ.  The court is being asked by the plantiffs; Church of God in Christ, Inc and Kansas Southwest Jurisdiction to permantly bar the original members of Emmanuel from exercising any authority in the church.  This is effectively asking the court to remove me as a member.   Is this the way people are treated who don’t bow down?  Is this what happens when you dare think the National Church will look into allegations made against a Bishop?  When I send in a complaint to the General Board, or the Chairman of the Board of Bishops, am I wrong to think I should receive an answer?   Am I wrong to think both parties should wait and hear the results?

There has been a great injustice put upon the members of Emmanuel COGIC, the original members not the ones who were brought in to create a fake split.  It also appears the system is more important than the people who toil, sacrifice, and build an church building.  As David said,” if it were my enemy I could have borne it”.  Not only is the injustice done by Bishop Gilkey, he has had friends in high places help him.  I lift my voice to the MOST HIGH GOD and cry out FATHER  save me.  Just as Hezekiah did when he received a letter from the King of Assyria in

II Kings 19:14-19

And Hezekiah received the letter of the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up into the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord. 15 And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said, O Lord God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubim s, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. 16 Lord, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, Lord, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. 17 Of a truth, Lord, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands, 18 And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men’s hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them. 19 Now therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the Lord God, even thou only

O Lord our GOD, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, I pray in Jesus name,  Thank You Father
